A partnership between Youth Link, Youth Initiatives and MENCAP has been awarded up to €2,390,658.41 under the PEACE IV programme for the Transformative Education for Positive Relationships Project (TEPRP), more commonly known as TRANSFORM.
TRANSFORM seeks to engage with young people aged 14-24 supporting them to fulfil their potential, develop skills, confidence, gain OCN qualifications and contribute positively as active citizens in their communities. Geographic areas to be targeted will include; Antrim, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone; Derry/Londonderry, Armagh, Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Donegal.
Approximately 480 young people from Protestant, Catholic and minority groups will participate in youth work programmes that will explore the themes of Personal Development, Good Relations and Active Citizenship.
This project has been funded by the EU’s PEACE IV programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
