NEW STAFF MEMBERS - Andrea Duncan & Jane McClelland

Andrea joined Youth Link in July 2011.  Andrea's post is funded through The International Fund for Ireland - Community Bridges Programme.  In conjunction with other staff members, Andrea will deliver and assist in the co-ordination of a suite of community relations, good relations, active citizenship and youth work programmes for young people, young adults and youth workers, accredited through the Open College Network, in North and West Belfast.  She is JNC professionally qualified in Community Youth Work and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Community Education.

 

Andrea has been involved in the delivery of accredited training programmes within the youth sector for over ten years and her previous employment included piloting training and employment programmes for young adults.

 

Jane joined Youth Link in July 2011.  Jane's post, Community Relations Training & Development Officer, is funded by Peace III through Youth Education & Social Inclusion Partnership for a period of one year.  In conjunction with other staff members she is responsible for delivering a range of Youth Work and Community Relations training programmes in specific areas of Belfast and the border counties. Jane is JNC professionally qualified and has experience working with young people and volunteers in different settings, including church-based youth work.  

 

Previously she was employed as a Training Officer/Youth Mentor in Include Youth where she was responsible for delivering personal development programmes and one to one mentoring with vulnerable young people.
