‘Introduction to Community Relations and Conflict Transformation’ Programme

A group of Centre for Youth Ministry Ireland students from Year 2 with members of staff from Youth Link: NI went on a two day residential to the Half Way House in Ballygally in mid-March. 

 

The residential provided an introduction to community relations, an opportunity to hear each other’s stories, explore personal conflict styles and role model ways of dealing with conflict in a positive manner.

 

The residential gave the 2nd year students a foundation for the modules which they will complete after Easter in ‘Social Policy’ and ‘Working in a Multicultural Society’.
