Using ICT in Youth Work

Learn to use a range of digital media, ICT and online tools to engage creatively with young people.  ICT can be a fantastic way to build relationships and learn new skills but often we just don’t know where to start, this programme will help you to build the skills and confidence needed to use ICT in your youth work effectively.

The Programme will cover:

  • Useful apps and games to enhance your youth work
  • Using digital media effectively including photography and video creation
  • Ensuring that appropriate safety and security is used
  • Using ICT to monitor and evaluate your youth work

The programme is an accredited unit within the OCN NI Level 2 Diploma in Youth Work Practice

Youth Link, Farset Enterprise Park, 638 Springfield Road, Belfast BT12 7DY

Places are limited and you must be over 18, able to attend all sessions and working with young people (paid or voluntary) to avail of the programme.

Cost is £25 per person.
