** NEW APPRENTICESHIP PEACE PROGRAMME **

Youth Link: NI wishes to invite young people (aged between18-25) to participate on its Apprenticeship Peace Programme across North and West Belfast.  The programme has three distinctive strands, accredited training, a community based placement and building relationships across the community.   (Please see main tab above 'Apprenticeship Programme' for further information)

 

The training will be delivered on a full day Wednesday and Thursday every fortnight basis between 9.30 and 16.30.  The placement requirements are that each apprentice completes a minimum of 16 hours per week.  

 

There are a broad range of placement organisations and apprentices who have already been selected. However we are still looking for apprentices to be placed in the following organisations: 

 

  • 174 Trust- Duncairn Avenue;
  • Forthspring Inter Community Group - Springfield Road;
  • Woodvale Methodist Church - Woodvale Road;

Candidates can remain on the programme for up to a maximum of 2 years completing the full range of community relations, youth work and citizenship courses which are all fully accredited through OCN NI.
